Competitive Salary Research
We research and analyze competitive salary practices by accessing
national, regional, metropolitan, and industry-specific compensation
data. We also conduct customized salary surveys on behalf
of client companies by gathering competitive data for unique
jobs that are not reported in published surveys. Salary data
are recorded, weighted, aged, and analyzed to project current
market target rates.
Base Salary Programs and Job Evaluation
For client organizations that value individual jobs, we develop
internal job evaluation systems and assign salary grades.
We have extensive experience in a wide variety of job evaluation
techniques, ranging from simple ranking to committee-based
job evaluation to computer-automated point factor systems.
We also develop salary grade structures that are affordable
and reflect realistic hiring rates and salary growth opportunities
for employees at all levels. A well-conceived salary grade

We design custom competencies and competency models for client organizations

includes a core definition as well as five pre-defined levels of proficiency
-- or behavioral anchors -- to enable more precise alignment of competencies to
an individual job.
Through our alliance with HR
Technology Solutions, Inc., the vendor of online human capital management tool HRToolbench,
we provide an online job description module that includes comprehensive
libraries of proprietary General and Function-specific competencies.
Competencies can easily be configured and assigned to each
job. General competencies reflect the core behaviors or skills
that are required by all employees for organization-wide success.
Function-Specific competencies reflect the job-specific behaviors
and technical skills required for individual job success. Employees
not only understand what competencies are required of their
jobs, but also the target proficiency levels required for job
success. This approach enriches the competency information
associated with each job description.
